  1. Precise Mold Design
    Our engineering team used advanced CAD software to design molds, ensuring that every detail of the turbo fan wheel met the required specifications for automotive turbochargers. During the design process, we focused on key factors such as:
    • Plastic Shrinkage Rates: Different materials have different shrinkage rates that directly impact mold precision. For example, Nylon has a shrinkage rate of about 0.8% to 1.2%, while PBT is lower. We precisely calculated these factors to ensure consistent and accurate part dimensions.
    • Cooling Channel Design: To improve production efficiency, we optimized the mold’s cooling system to ensure even cooling of the plastic material. The cooling cycle was controlled within 3 to 5 minutes, reducing the overall production time per batch.
  2. Efficient Mold Manufacturing
    For mold manufacturing, we chose hardened steel as the primary material, ensuring durability and high precision. Using CNC machining technology, we crafted every detail of the mold with extreme accuracy. The manufacturing cycle was completed within 8 to 12 weeks, meeting the demands of large-scale production.
  3. Optimized Injection Molding and Cooling
    During the injection molding process, we heated plastic pellets (Nylon, PP, etc.) to their flowable temperature (around 230°C to 270°C) and injected them into the mold at a pressure range of 1000 to 1500 bar. The carefully optimized cooling system ensured that each turbo fan wheel was cooled within 3 to 5 minutes, maximizing production efficiency while maintaining high-precision molding.
